Quad tips on non a-spec bumper?

Would it be possible to put quad exhaust tips on the standard 05 bumper? If so how

Hey Tyler,

If you wanted to run the quad tip system on your 05 bumper you have a couple options...

You can either trim your existing valance to fit the extra tips, or you can swap out the valance for a 07/08 Type-S one.

How much you're looking to spend should help you decide how you want to go about it, but it is definitely possible!

Good luck

Quad tips on non a-spec bumper?-cuobctq.jpg

https://www.socal-autosports.com/3-quad-exhaust-tips
link to the exact same ones i have on my car

couple tips though.. you might be able to find cheaper ones if you goto your local muffler shop and ask for a dual 3" tip.. my local shop told me they could of got me a set for like $75ish
also the tips are tapered meaning the tips are not equal length.. make sure you get them welded on with the longer tip on the inside and the shorter tip toward the outside otherwise they will look really off if you flip them
lastly keep in mind you will have to cut your OEM square tips off and make sure to keep them so you can weld them back on in the future if needed

You will need a rotary saw to cut the ports. Making the ports wider don't touch the height. Then sand the edge for a smooth look.
