Quad exhaust tips that fit base bumper??

Maybe this was already asked but does anyone know of a Quad exhaust tip thatwill fit the base bumper (non types, non Aspec)?
I really don’t want to gothrough the trouble of replacing/cutting my bumper.

People don't see anything you say; They just see Boobs. That's why you keep repeating yourself.

Um....yes they do without modification. You're thinking of the Type-S quads, but aftermarket quads like those made my SoCal fit just fine.

Meh. I think the quads look awkward in the base bumper. Its kinda like muffin top.

Its both racing inspired and a cosmetic enhancement!

Seriously though mostly 'cause that's what you see on most high performance models these days from the factory and huge single tips screams modified car.

I think it's stupid. Some of these companies are charging 120+ for some damn exhaust tips that do nothing but make a little different sound, you might as well buy one of those fake turbo blow off value sound. I say save your money and buy a exhaust system. You ain't got to lie to kick it.

So changing exhaust tips that don't change the exhaust note but are nice cosmetic upgrade are as bad as fake blow off valves? I had no idea

Here is a shot of mine on my base bumper with aspec lip. They are the 3" polished tips and they fit great before and after the lip

Got them from SoCal-autosports.com

The tips do NOT change the sound of the exhaust. Its just a tip. its not resonated. its completely for looks. fake turbo blow off valve? its a tip not a whistle. just because you change from a single tip to the quads doesnt make it something its not.

I've had these tips on my base aspec rear for over two years one and still love how they look. If you are having trouble getting in touch with SoCal, you can try Assured Auto (I bought mine from them via eBay before the price got crazy) or Summit. The current versions look like the have "Silverline" stamped on them. Models TK9002 and TK9003 (disclaimer:I'm not positive these are the same as SoCal's, and mine do not have any manufacturer name on them; just trying to help your search). But support the Acurazine vendors when possible

Another bump here. I'm picking up an A-spec kit (for base model) tomorrow and was double checking this thread to make sure these tips will fit. Yes they will fit fine with A-spec bumper on 04-06 base model.

Hopefully this will help someone in the future. Here are pics of these tips on my Base Model 06:

They hang a bit low. Some new exhaust hangers would probably straighten it out.

Thank you. I was looking for some up to date pictures (many on the forums no longer exist) and they look great on the base. I'm going to order some next week.
