Proud owner of an '08 TL Type S
Finally after 2 years of waiting and lurking car lots, combined with a growing obsession from here I finally purchased a CBP type s with 94k on the odometer. Traded in my dad's 03 type s with 130k on it for the downpayment and gave him my truck (was supposed to be his when we first bought it anyways).
Vehicles in pretty good shape sans 2 blemishes (weird crack on dash and small dime size dent on bumper) for 14.9 with no dealer fees, just tax. I'm pretty stoked to say the least and as soon as I figure out how to post pics I will. Looking forward to being more than just a lurker here.

Awesome! Congrats and welcome to Acurazine. You have the same color as I do. Hmmm crack on dash huh? Mine is an 08 and hoping I don't get the dreaded dash crack. Register her at www.myacura.com. Save the navi and radio codes there for safe keeping.
You can post pics by uploading them to a host site such as photobucket, etc. Then cut/pasting the link in your post.
Again congrats on the nice TL-S.

First thing I'm going to do when I get a chance is do a little research on here and find out what the recalls were on this vehicle and go get them examined. This was a one owner car and the guy who owned it babied it as it was in the shop getting something flushed, rotated, redone, etc every 5k to 10k miles but none of the recalls were performed. I've seen them posted before so they won't be hard to find. Then it's a good tint and then we play the waiting game on how long I can hold off before I get the "mod itch." When it happens, oh boy
