Question Prices in Ohio? and/or non-navi 6-spd prices?

I'm thinking about trading my '03 Audi A4 on a non-navi 6-speed. I was just wondering what is a good deal on an Anthracite/Camel non-navi 6-speed is?

Thanks for your help.

Talking

Got my NBP/Parchment, non-navi, manual at Motorcars Acura in Bedford for about 31,400 (about 1300 above invoice), with some goodies; we did the deal in 30 minutes over the phone, so my guess is that you could do better if you wanted to haggle. Private message me if you have more questions about the dealership and transaction.

good luck

Back in late January, I worked $31,800 or thereabouts for a 6MT Non-Navi Anthracite/Ebony. It took some doing and playing two or three dealers but that's the best I could do back then.....deals, I would assume, nowadays would be much better.

Their are no deals to be had in Columbus. I was pretty much told to leave the dealership because they could not match the deals in Nj and Nyc. The best I could get was 32k. I will never buy from a certain dealership in Columbus. I was told if I bought a ACURA any other place other than this dealership they would not service my car for any reason warranty, etc. I am going to buy a tsx navi instead once I find one I like.

Lindsay Acura in Columbus was offering me $31,620 for either a manual or auto non-navi. I'm purchasing a NBP 6-speed manual w/ A-spec for $34,300. It's the best price around Columbus but I'm sure there's better deals out of state.

Thats BS that the dealer would not service your car if you did not purchase it there. The damm service department makes money just like the sales department. If they only serviced the cars they sold, they would not make much money, *L*. I negociated mine for $31,395 SSM/Ebony/6MT/Non Nav. I submitted several quotes online before arriving at that though. I attempted to bring the negociated price to a local dealer, but they didn't want to deal since they sold the cars anyway. I hate dealers like that, oh well.

I know for one thing, don't deal with Acura of Boardman, I sent out internet quotes last night, and I got this smart ass reply as to why he would want to sell a car at or below invoice. He concluded the email by sating when you invest millions of dollars into a dealership then you can get the car at invoice. What a piece of work.

That is just rediculous. The Non-NAVI TL is selling 200 below invoice right now at a few dealerships in NJ. There is a freaking dealer holdback on these cars at the moment as I recall.

That is what I told the guy that he will be getting a 3% holdback. When I get back home on thursday, I will post a copy of this guys email. I was offended by it, especially when he said I shouldn't even waste my time in responding ro you. Right now the best offer I have is for 31,100. I would like to do a little better. Do any of you know the names of the dealerships in NJ, that are selling below invoice? I hate doing all of this haggling on the price. I do have to give props to the Audi dealership giving me the best deal on the first round.

The reason is my dealership has a hard time getting tls. In Nyc and Nj they got stockpiles of non navi tls. I have seen the non navi tls sell for 30k exactly. The dealership I went to would sell me a non navi for 31800. This to me is bs. They had a dealer demo with with 2k on it they would sell me for 31500. What a deal. The dealers in Columbus dont have to budge on msrp because they know some jackass will pay sticker or some where close to it.

If I recall Curry ACURA was selling them for 29900 or 30k exactly. I think its in Nj or Nyc. One of the two I am sure of.

Well here is the email from the dealer who gave me bs.

First I would like to Thank You for your e-mail concerning your interest
in the Acura TL, but I would like to ask why you think you can purchase a
vehicle at or below the dealers cost ? I shouldn't have even wasted my time
responding to you but I can't understand why you think from a business
standpoint that a dealer can sell a product without making a profit. I'm
sure that you have already checked with the dealer in your area and they
have given you a price (giving the car away) and you are trying to keep them
honest!! My suggestion to you is when you are ready to invest millions of
dollars in a dealership of your own, then you can purchase an Acura TL for
cost.
Anyway, I got Park Acura down to 30,900. I don't think that is too bad of a deal. What do you think?

KHill, We had the EXACT same experience with Boardman Acura.
The GM is willing to give the shirt off his back to get you to drive the hour to their dealership.

They're just not will to give you any real savings. I called my sales rep back at Park and told him DO IT (Not before getting wheel locks and all-season mats thrown in for free ).

I sign the papers on Saturday.

Bottom line is Park is being competitive, but we're paying more in OH than other states.
