Possible Aspec Wheels Located

I've been on the lookout for the aspec wheels and I ran across a post on a local website.. Guy is selling an RL for like $1,500.00.. The RL is beat to shit, but it looks like he has the aspec wheels on his car.. I called him and explained I will purchase the wheels as I have a TL and he kept explaining to me they wont fit, they won't fit..

My question is did they make separate aspec wheels for the RL? If not, I am going to wheel and deal this guy and offer him some money...

Attached is the photo of the RL for reference.. Thanks always AZ..

I am far from a wheel expert, but a quick google search should confirm the RL and TL do not have the same wheel specs. RL uses 5x120 while the TL is 5x114.3. Center bore also appears to be different.

They do until you see them side by side. I went through this pain over year ago when sourcing ones for my RL. When I sourced mine I went online to a number of wheel brokers and found them. Here is 1 listing but I assume you are looking cheaper?

Maybe for the 8" wide A-specs.

The 8.5" wide would be closer to $500-$600 condition pending.

^^^ Breezy I saw couple 8.5 set sold for $400 and they are in decent condition. The 8" actually goes for $200-$300, G35 Rays goes about $400 for a decent set.

I am not low ball but here in Htown 18" rim isn't rare. I bought a set 2015 GS F sport with tires (80% tread left) with TMPS the rims has zero curb/ scratch as the seller removed from his CPO GS350 for $900.

May be it depend on your geographic region as well but here in Htown good luck to sell your "used" 8.5 Aspec for $600.

Were the 8.5's in pristine condition? I can see rock chips, a little curb rash, scuffs going for $400. I'm pretty sure there isn't a "new" set left in the world. Do Dealerships even sell them anymore? It's hard to come by 8.5 in pristine condition for a cheap price.

lets be honest the 8.5 only came in 2004 model and if it DD obviously the condition will be exactly as you describe above. As far as being pristine condition its almost impossible (unless you just park the car most of the time), I am not looking to buy a Aspec set for my TL anytime lol.

I love the cheap tires that fit my waffle $125-$150 per tires for PSS or $175 for 4S, the only reason I got the A spec for the RL because the RL use odd tire size (Only 2 other cars using that size) and the price per tire is about the same for the Aspec vs stock 17"

I found a seller from Houston. He's a member here. Bought them for $300. They need to be reworked, but I can do that.

Well, I'm getting estimates to have them refinished. $150 a wheel estimate is a hard pill to swallow. I was thinking in the $100 range.
