Plug and Play DRL
Hey,
I've been wanting to get rid of the nasty yellow drl's that come factory. I have read threads about the car not being able to recognize the low voltage draw from the led's. And, the plug and play ones don't seem to be bright enough. I ran into these tonight and I was wondering if anyone has tried these HB4 DRL LED bulbs (hi-lux) yet.

i believe i need 9006 bulbs for an 05 tl drl< can someone verify that for me.

2005 Base TL's does not have DRL's. They're actually fog lights integrated into the headlights. But you are right that they use 9006 bulbs. Using the LEDs won't be as bright (correct me if i'm wrong) the halogens would actually be brighter. I got Nokya Bulbs on mine and they're pretty nice white with a blue-ish tint to them. if you dont want them stock color.

Not sure about those, but i installed the White HID 3W cree DRL bulbs on my 08 tl type S and these are plug in play. When i first put them in, i was thinking they are not very bright. But once i parked the car stood back very far a took a look at how the car looked from a distance they look VERY good IMO, sooo much better then stock. IMO they just running lights its not to be supper bright, if thats the case then i would just drive with my HIDs on at all time. I very happy with that $40 spent!
