Well 5000k won't match switchbacks either. You need 6000k to be blue enough to match the switchbacks that most people get.

I think those came closer since they were the CBI color. If you really want it to match get these: KAIXEN D2C - 6000K

I'm not looking for anything as blue as 6000k. 4300k is nice as long as it's white. I have the 85122+'s now and they're a bit too yellow for my taste. I'd like to see more pictures of the regular non-CBI Osram 66240's, but I haven't found any yet...

I bought these almost a year ago, April 12th to be exactly. Installing was a bit difficult seeing how it was my first time changing out the low beams... After installation was completed, I was more than thrilled with the results this gave my 05 RL. Well, yesterday, I noticed some flickering, as the driver side went out - turned the headlights off and on and it lit up again... This seem to occur when a bulb starts to go. So, just for good measure, I switched the bulbs, left to right, right to left... the passenger side goes out now...So, it's not the wire harness but the bulb itself. These bulbs have a two year warranty but haven't even lasted a full year, so, I'll be giving TRS a call. Either way, I'll surely be getting them again. CBI complements my carbon grey pearl

The fact that the box says, "original" is quite suspicious. And with these being under warranty, the next set should be free of charge, including the return of the ones I currently have, so they can perform their QA. TRS has a set called CBH which are like 6600k white. But I fancy the blue output.

it should be written fakes, then would be less suspicious
Buy on amazon you can always claim and send them back under warranty . thats the best most secure way. F**k ebay, i used to sell on ebay alot (300transactions pe4 month for plus minus 20-30k $ every month) and all i know on ebay customer is always right, they will f**k you to the last dollar if,You are seller even if customer is wrong and return You a brick instead of home cinema amplituner worth 800$ that was my case and then many many simillar problems, so i simply quit those scammers from ebay.com

Not necessarily.
But I get what you're saying. A lot of wicked people out there.. Can't even call them people, really. More like viruses that keep multiplying.
I'm quite familiar with ebay and it's practices and how honest hardworking sellers get screwed, especially with those shitty ass feedbacks that messes up an impeccable record, even after you've got them their product before the scheduled delivery, free shipping, undamaged et alia...
But what you lose in one area, you gain 10x more in another, hence a lesson learned. If that link you posted is to your store, I'll pick up a set. But only after seeing what TRS has to say.

this is true those people shouldnt have rights to have kids...
now you cant even leave negative feedback to buyer...that sucks too, now they can do what the want , it is sad especially when You working hard for good reputation and one asshole came with neg feesback and destroy Your score. I know that...dont ask me why hehe. System is bad, getting worst every year we are going back to comunism where hard workers have to work till death paying for those lazy asses in cities like nyc who dont have to,work since they have free rent free insurance, "kupones kupones " for food and everything, worst is they taking it as standard something like this is gov duty etc, so they thinking they have right to have everything what they want , and this problem growing...
You and me who works hard are blamed for work with high taxes, insurance costs growig every year. Im just wondering how far it could,go and when system colapse.

No this is not my store I gave up was tired to see how my hard work, health was destroyed by buyers

, check on amazon, before You buy be sure it is sold,by amazon not third party seller just in case you get non working product it will be easier to solve problem.

There is another new Osram bulb out as well the CBB - listed as off road only but i believe it is the brightest bulb to date and is more on the bluer side. I have these in my vehicle and they are definitely brighter than the CBI's i had previously. TRS has some videos up comparing them. I am located in Canada and purchased from an authorized seller in the UK though(Power Bulbs). They were running a 25% off promotion which i believe is on again right now which put them substantially cheaper than i could order out of the US.

the higher Kevin scale you go up you will loose useful light out put, this is why car manufacture stick with 4300k-5000k. and yes those are bluer that doesn't mean they are brighter.

These bulbs are awesome. was the first thing i ever changed on my TLS. well worth the 160 i paid for them.

the ebay ones are fake. i have never seen this bulb go for 60. not to mention they dont show the side of the box with the hologram. They show that on the amazon link.

i got mine from TRS.

Yeah I agree, however in this case they are substantially brighter. TRS has done some comparisons with measured light output on their YouTube page.

it is brighter as in more lumens but he referring to usable light. that 6K in the rain you cant see the road as well as the 4300K light on the road.

i dont see as many people raving about the CBH vs these CBI's

I’m not referring to the CBH, these are osram’s newest bulbs the CBB.
