it will be slightly off, but not enough to not match...

lets just put it this way, from teh factory the wdp bumper is wdp yet it doesn't match the car... the difference between ssm and asm is way less than that, so it is almost not visible

I have wider wheels, and no rubbing, but its near stock

You won't rub unless ur slammed (3" drop), at which point the tire will touch the fender

would this fit. 19x8.5 +25 offset all around with 235 35 19 tires. Car is stock height but if i get some wheels i plan to lower it just a little .5-1 inch. Thanks

if you'd like to run 235, your fronts will be ok, but the rear will require you to buy a rear camber kit, and run -2 degree and also have 0 degree toe and also roll the fenders in the rear

you cannot roll the fenders in the front (if you do you will have some visible damage to the front body line curve where the fender meets the bumper)

The bolt pattern is 5x120 and the offset if +55


You will have to get a wheel adapter in order to allow fitment

The wheel adapters you will require are as follows

5x114.3 to 5x120, with a thickness between 10mm to 20mm

Should you decide to pursue these wheels, you will surely be the one and only 3rd gen sporting them

Looking again I noticed that the 04-06 front spoiler is different from the 07-08. Will it be a bigger hassle to put the 04-06 one on my 07 TL-S?

My car was recently hit in the rear would like to replace with an 2009 Type S bumper and 4 way exhaust pipes, will it fit?

Now that I have read 9 pages, let me ask in a different manor.

Seems 08+ Type S rear bumper covers will fit 2004-07TL's.

Can I use my stock exhaust or must I purchase the 4 pipe exhaust to make it all work (I'd like to put the bumper cover on then find a used 08+ exhaust).

Thought I somewhere bumper cover fits, but needs a little cutting? Can you explain what needs to be cut, and by how much.

Lastly, is the 4 pipe system a direct fit to 04 - 07 models or does that need to modified and is a bolt in or weld in?

ok here is the lowdown

04-08 base is 1 tip on each side
07-08 type s is dual tip on each side

04-08 base bumper fits 07-08 type s (same applies to the 04-08 base skirt on an 07-08 type s)
07-08 type s bumper fits 04-08 base (same applies to the 07-08 type s skirt on an 04-08 base)


as for the exhaust, the 04-08 base exhaust fits the type s no problem
the 07-08 type s exhaust when installed on the 04-08 base will require either an 07-08 type s rear bumper, or an 07-08 type s rear skirt (which will require some cutting)

cutting: very minimal... pm me if you need pics of exactly what needs to be trimmed

I need to replace the front bumper cover, which has some cosmetic damage. Will the '07-'08 base bumper fit? What about the '07-'08 type S. Any mods required, or will it snap in?

it fits 100% but all of the grille pieces will need to be swapped out for either the flat grey from the 07-08 base or the black chrome from the 07-08 s

also... Instead of doing a full bbk i was thinking just doing new brembo calipers for all 4, they do not make specific for tl what car should i get them for and what do i need to change? (6mt rotors are nice but i want the rears to look the same like porsche has same fron and rear)...thanks
