The ones that pose some risk according to Nokya when I called are 55w bulbs, p/n NOK7223http://nokyausa.com/aw/aw7223.htmYou will have to cut and paste the links, sorry about that, something changed on this forum boards because a lot of my functionality is blocked through my work firewall and the each time I load a page it is triggering my firewall.

Checked out your link, I see you are looking at 9006's for the earlier tl's the confusion is my info pertains to a 08 tl and the fogs are down low separate from the headlight assembly and use a different bulb. Regardless wiring will be at its limits if you use a 55watt bulb. Check out the nokya website and go from there as far as what is available or call maybe, the guy I got at their USA customer service was very pleasant and new his stuff regarding bulbs, rare these days to call customer service and you get someone with true product knowledge.

I've had mine in now for almost 2 1/2 years with no issues.

I did change from white (7000K) to Yellow (3000K or 3500K ??) sometime last year, but the spec is the same: Nokya Stage-2 H8 35/55W bulbs.

How many amps is the stock fuse for the fogs on the 08 TLs?

My bumper caught on fire from fog lights

My front bumper literally caught on fire because i unknowingly had fog lights on less than 24 hours.

And the whole time, the fog lights were on? Did you buy the car used ? Maybe someone hacked the fog lights to be on independent of the headlights

If I were to take a guess, I think you may have had a different bulb that has yellow tinted plastic covers on the capsules, which melted then caught fire.
