No XM for Canadian spec?

No XM for Canadian spec?
OK. Does anybody know what this really means?
I assume that the XM tuner is a chip or 2 built-in to the stereo. Do they really mean that the roof-mounted antenna will not come with these cars?
If this is so, could we purchase the antenna through a US Acura dealer parts dept. Does anyone also know if this antenna is drilled into the roof or is it just stuck on with epoxy?
If we can get hold of the antenna and antenna cable, then we can get the XM service if we supply an American address.
