New TL owner with a couple of questions!
After much homework I just purchased my first TL (2008) and I’ve got a couple of questions.
I test drove the car during the day and I noticed the other night that my gear shift is not illuminated - is it supposed to be? Also my “TL” on the back of my car (trunk door) is on the left side - same side as the lettering ACURA. Now that I’m paying attention to others I have seen several that the TL is on the opposite corner, right side, of the trunk door. Is this normal. Nope, your trunk is definitely wrong;did you get a CarFax on it? Did it show an accident?

Yes, a clean car fax. Nothing on it. Had wonderful service records. But no accidents.

What it seems like the original fell off and previous owner bought a "TL" and just slap it on |

Perhaps the trunk was "de-badged" and the dealer "re-badged" it??

^ I thought of that also. And agree someone putting them on didn’t look at a pic of stock placement? Let alone the TL difference.........:shrug:
