New to the TL

Hey everyone! So in my previous post I was talking about how I'm looking for a 3rd gen TL. Of course I would love the Type S but I cant really find one, granted I've only been looking for 2 weeks. I might settle for an 06 TL with navigation. It would be a 2nd car for me so I suppose I dont necessarily need the type s because I'd like to keep that garage kept and have no room, so I guess it does kinda work out but that type s is sweeeet lol anyways... Can anyone point me in a direction to buy the 07 08 tail lights or type s tails, at a good price. Plug and play would be great! Dont really want to splice wires. One review on Amazon scared me away, saying they had to do a few things in order for the lights to go in. Thanks for all the help!

Welcome to AZ. I would dive into the forums for any questions you can think of, I'm sure most of those questions has been answered already. Regarding the 06 with Navi, would be an auto or manual? If you're into automatics, 04-06 are known to have more transmission issues than the 07-08. I wouldn't even worry about the tail lights before getting the car first lol
My personal opinion, don't settle for that 06 with Navi, unless its a manual. Settle for the TypeS one if you can

Trust me I'm trying not to settle but its HARD to find a car this old with the right mileage without the leather ripped or body dinged up. The owner has to have taken car of her. Usually when they are that babied they arent for sale though. It has to be the right situation I suppose.

Pretty sure all TL tails are plug and play. The side markers and headlights have some differences across the years.

Only looking for 2 weeks for a car you don't actually "need"....keep looking until you find what you want. There are many options available if you aren't in a hurry. Unfortunately low mileage good condition are tough to find and usually expensive. Also, for the right price, don't let the seats scare you off. That is usually easier to fix than a dinged up exterior.
