New ride after my TL 😁

So guys after the tornado hit my area they ended up totaling my car but I got a new one. Thank you guys for all the support and information that I’ve learned from you all. What do you guys think of the new ride? Only thing that is taking some time to get used to is the CVT and the handling. I do like the power, technology though.

Not bad. I would have preferred a Honda Accord v6 since you're coming from an Acura (and new Acuras suck).

😂😂 yea it does remind me of a spaceship. The ride is so much smoother than it was in my TL especially on these country ass roads in Alabama 🤦🏾♂️

Congrats! I’d be sad to switch from a 3G to a modern Nissan but I guess for some people they don’t care. I bet it feels way smoother and luxurious with ofcourse all the modern amenities. Does it come with 360 Birdseye view camera?

This model doesn't come with that camera but the top model does. It's crazy how they have so many trim levels to this car. This one does however have the backup camera with predictive lines.

I like the quilted leather interior on the 8th gen. Nissan definitely kicked it up a notch but I wish they would do away with CVT.

I just sold my 06 last Saturday so I'm on the market for a replacement. Love car shopping!!

That was just a general statement about Nissan that I wish they'd do away with CVT. Owned a 2008 Altima 3.5SE and that was my first and will be the last CVT vehicle I ever own.

Personally I think the greatest Maxima of all time is 2002-2003 GLE with stick shift. We used to own 89 Maxima, 92 SE MT and 93 GXE, they all suffer from the same common electrical issue tho, the motor and trans is pretty good.

They're different but agree the two cars share a very similar silhouette and styling.

How do you like the CVT transmission? I personally dislike CVT although more and more manufacturers are using them!

Congrats. A_07TL, will be interested, in hearing your evaluation, after 6 months. Would also like to know what kind of MPG your getting.

Congrats on the new ride! I have been fighting with the though what to get after the TL and for some reason I still have a huge crush on it, I can’t see myself parting with it. The seat and driving position is spot on for me. If / when the TL will be replaced, I want the next car to still have a manual transmission.
The TL recently has found a little brother in the garage, but even with the new addition, the TL puts a smile on my face when I drive it.

First mod, peel that shitty Jim Burke decal off.
I usually stick them on my tool box.

hi Majofo

haha agreed on dealer stickers, when I buy my cars I tell them I have a no stickers policy on my car. If they want to put a frame plate, that’s fine with me but no stickers.

I don't even leave the dealer plate frame. They don't pay me to advertise for them.
