That's not a type s. That's a regular model from 04-06. Type s were only made in 07-08.

Good color choice though!

Really? I've been trying to find info about it. The guy I bought it from must of slapped a type-s emblem on it just to make that extra buck.
But thanks I love that diamond pearl☺️

yep. run the VIN through myacura.com and it'll show an 04-06 model, or just look in the door jamb.

how much did you pay for it..?

Welcome to Acurazine! I really hope you paid a fair price for your TL. It would really suck if you paid a couple hundred or even a couple thousand just because the previous owner went on eBay and bought a $9 badge and slapped it on...

I wouldnt sweat the mislabel.
just know what you have now is equal to an automatic type-s!
