Hello everyone, I researched a lot on this forum before I got my 2008 Acura TL type s automatic over the weekend. The forum has wealth of information which was really helpful. It is a stock with 72k miles and I love it!!!

So, I am going to ride stock for some time but later I plan to put in a CAI and an exhaust system. I don't want it too loud but something like the new Jaguar F type

Welcome and congrats!

Skip the intake and add a j-pipe. It's the best bang for your buck

lol.
one version of the f-type has a v8 in it.
your car will never sound like that.
in fact, your car will never sound like another car.

your car has a distinct sound to it. this sound is common for most honda v6's.
you will never be able to change the distinct sound, but you can do things to make it louder, softer, raspier, etc.

I went through many threads to but am not able to get a clear solution for my needs. I have an aux port in my car but I am looking for a bluetooth audio solution. I can use an aux bluetooth connector but I want to be able to use steering controls. To do this I think I need to use Isimple and connect to XM radio. I tried searching for the correct component but I am not able to find it. Can anybody point me to proper sources? My tl is navigation version FYI. Thanks.

Haha true!! Well I guess I need to save enough to buy an f-type or better just make my exhaust louder.

I don't think bluetooth audio streaming is possible in the '08, but I could be wrong. I might have seen some set up that worked for iPhone users to stream music via bluetooth, but I have yet to see anything that works for Andriod.

If anyone could shed light on this it would be appreciated!

I don't think bluetooth streaming is possible. From what I gathered in this forum, we have to remove the XM radio inputs behind the radio unit and replace it with an external hardware like ISIMPLE or some thing else. There will be a bluetooth input in that hardware. After this all we need to do is switch to XM in the radio and connect our bluetooth to the ISIMPLE one and we have audio streaming. I do not know exactly which ISIMPLE model accomplishes this. I have seen some where you can directly connect your iphone but I have an android.
