Use a Phillips in the slot and you will see the adjuster. I couldn't see it at first but used my phone's flashlight and you can see the "gears" you turn to raise/lower.

Are you guys running LED rear turn signals in conjunction with these headlights? My worry is that these will cause hyper flash since my rear signals are LED (currently running incandescent fronts). I have the error free LED signals in the rear so I hope the upgraded front turn signals won't trick the car into thinking a bulb is out since in theory these will draw much less energy?

From what I understand, they are LED and have a resistor bult in to prevent hyper flashing. It looks like this kit is Plun N' Play!

I currently run red vleds Triton v6 in the rears and formerly ran the same in amber in the front. The vleds v6 kits are awesome and incredibly bright. They come with resistor kits to prevent hyperflash so it was plug and play and worked perfectly.

If you want to use the LEDs as DRL, I suggest wiring it to the DRL ststem. Or you could get a DRL module (hooks to battery and ground/uses alternator voltage jump in battery to activate) and find the LED power wire on the pinout, I suppose.
IDK, I was hoping it could work this way... Only thing, the LEDs will not be bright enough to use as DRL, really.
Tried it before and the LEDs need to be extremely bright to be seen in direct sunlight like OEM DRL is.

These LEDs are BRIGHT, I'd say at least as bright as any OEM in the full sun in my limited experience.

If all else fails, just wire the DRL bulbs to an ignition-switched 12v source. Your DRL bulbs will be on day or night (but they look real good alongside the new headlight accent LEDs).
You'd still have the DRL code in the cluster but you would have functioning DRLs again

Hey I got my headlights and fogs installed yesterday and man what a difference! IMO they look much better in person and build quality is top notch.
I also have the same R3 harness and am wondering what temperature the DRL bulbs are that come with the new headlightz? You say they match the LED accents nicely, your talking about the bulbs that come installed in the headlights right?
Oh no, I meant that my LED bulbs "match" nicely in the sense that even though mine are amber but the whole "LED look" just is just so modern and fresh IMO.
The new headlights came with a regular halogen bulb so I wouldn't recommend using that since it looks old school.

So overall, the install was fairly straight forward. The company does a good job providing a sheet of instructions and they are simple and clear. This was the first time I've ever removed the front bumper on any vehicle, and this is my second TL. By far, removing the bumper and headlights is the most difficult part. However, now that I've done it once. I'm confident, I can get it off within 30 minutes. Was just alot of trial and error, putting it back on as well. The bloody headlights have about 7 bolts holding them in place, 2 of which are on a clamp which is an absolute PITA to get too.
Aiming the lights were a bit tricky as well, just tedious really. If anyone does take the plunge and orders these sets ...make sure you seat the HID bulb correctly. Be careful to pay attention to how your bulb is seated in your original headlights.
Enough rambling..onto some shitty install pics

Thanks man, I agree it totally refreshes the car's front end, especially with the updated fogs to match. Shoutout for hamburgler for those!
I'll think on the wrap lol. Right now, I really enjoy the subtle bits of chrome on the car.....so if I get bored of that, I definitely change it up

Sweet! Just wondering how they'd look on a NBP. You got me sold on them! I'm going to pick up a set since the seals on mine are bad and have crazy condensation getting in. Plus, the lenses have micro cracks inside that I can't polish out.

I just did a bit of rewiring on the headlights in order to have the DRLs always on and an added bonus, I also got around the DRL warning light on the dash!
I used some spare short wiring harnesses I had to tie the LED bulbs together. I also tied them together using the existing long wire harness (posted above) to run from the passenger side to the driver side.
Once the were both wired together, I ran the ground wire to ground and ran power to an ignition-switched point on the fan relay in the fuse box pictured here:
I was able to get around the DRL warning light because I had a pair of resistors from VLEDs I had previously purchased (didn't work with the LEDs directly due to flicker)
In this case, I was able to plug the resistors into the stock blue connector it made the car happy.
These were the "R2" resistors I used:

Are you looking to have the fogs on with the low beams off?
I would think that if you wanted to trigger the fogs to turn on with just the parking lights it would be easy to tie the fog power wire to any of the lights that turn on with the parking lights. Such as the fender side marker lights or the parking LEDs on your new headlights.

Hmmm I'll ask a buddy who's good with electronics and see if this would be a smart route to take. Basically I want to run the fogs independent as it's been done for 04-06 models. But if it's not possible for 07-08 models, I'd be happy with being able to run the fogs with the parking lights

It is possible, but it most likely would require outside relay and tapping into the harness at the steering wheel. I was thinking about doing that, but decided that it's not worth.
If anybody wants to use led drl on 07 and 08 models, but don't feel like paying much look up my thread. Some wire and two high value resistors is all you need.
So as an update on my DRL situation, I ordered some resistors and using them, the DRL warning light is now gone, but for some reason the lights still don't turn on. Gonna try and buy some new lights, that's the only point of failure I can think of at this point lol
^^That's interesting. I tried plugging the DRL bulbs in to the stock sockets when I was installing the new headlights and I couldn't get them to work either......
the bulbs look fine, I wonder if I missed something (I did check both sides to ensure polarity wasn't the cause).
even though, I really like the headlight look without the DRLS on. I think it compliments the headlights especially when paired with the NBP.
I would only consider putting LED bulbs in for DRLs in order to match the rest of the headlight.
