My point exactly. A little flash show that only you would see after running the series of combo moves to achieve a few seconds of fatality.

yep, my husband's busa does this
I am not trying this on my TL though. My luck sucks, I'll get a damn error code and it'll drive me crazy till I figure out what it means. Maybe I'll try once someone figures out the error codes...

whats the code? I have the diagnostics info for them. There's error 1, 2 and 3, each relating to a specific area.

If the word "Error 1" is indicated, there is a malfunction in the communication line between the gauge control module and the fast-controller area network (F-CAN).

If the word "Error 2" is indicated, there is a malfunction in the communication line between the gauge control module and the body-controller area network (B-CAN)

If the word "Error 3" is indicated, there is a malfunction in the communication line between the gauge control module and the body-controller area network (B-CAN) and the fast-controller area network (F-CAN)

1- data is going bad in the wires between the guages and the car's F-CAN system (use navi diagnostics f-can window to see which devices are on F-CAN)

2. Data is going bad in the wires between the guages and the car's B-CAN system (use navi diagnostics B-can window to see which devices are on B-CAN)

3. See above, # 1 and 2

Well I tried the gauge test and it works on the TL also!

Instructions:

Hold trip/reset button
Turn headlights on
Turn ignition switch to ON
Within 5 seconds turn the headlights off, then on, then off
WIthin 5 seconds release the trip/reset button, then push it 3 times

The MID will light up and test itself, all dummy lights will flash, and the needles will sweep from min to max to min

Pushing the trip/reset button repeats the test!

I'm going to try and get a nifty long exposure picture.. iphone pics turned out crappy
Welcome to 2004...
