My poor baby's checkup hasn't gone so well...

Took the car in to get the wheels balanced after I started noticing a vibration at around 40mph. Shop calls and says she's got two bent wheels (passenger front driver rear) and a small bubble in the tire in the passenger front. There was a big pot hole that I took driving one evening a couple weeks ago and that must have been it as it was on the passenger side.

Murica needs better roads.

Got the t-shirt. It happens. Bent wheels are kind of like Louisiana termites: Those that have them and those that will get them....

Luckily the shop said they aren't that bad and sent them off to get repaired. Separation anxiety though, won't get the car back till tomorrow.

She's all better now. Got her back yesterday. Wheels repaired and new right front tire (P7 for $69 on the road hazard warranty). Wheels are balanced and right front alignment done. $544 were lit on fire in honor.

I also have two bent wheels, with minimal curve rash. I never hit a pot hole or anything like that. I think is just a weak wheel that minimal damage can cause it to bend.
