Question MPGs

I tried the search and came up with little answers to the question: what can I expect in the way of MPGs of an 05 or 06 AT TL with about a 50-50 mix of stop and go and open road, not highway but open roads at about 40-50mph? Am I looking at getting mid 20s?

I'm looking at 05-06 TLs and want to get an idea of annual fuel costs based on my commute. I won't be getting on it or beating it during my commute either. Thanks for any help.

You've kinda described my wife's '05 automatic TL and her usage, though she might see a little less stop and go than you. She's getting between 25 and 26 MPG with her car.

22-23 MPG.
Anything more than 10% non-freeway drops my MPG down below 26-28.

The 3G TL is a heavy car and its MPG really suffers from stop and go driving. I live in So Cal and I get 16 - 18 MPG on my commute which is all stop and go. When on the open road I get 28 - 30 MPG (although I don't see that very much).
