I'm about 500 miles shy of 250k myself. If I didn't have my G35, I'd be less than 20k behind you.

Calling a TL a luxury car is like wanting to have gray hair... Its like conparing a TL to an ES330 or a Buick!

Does pure luxury wear 235/45 rubber?

TL is luxury, but IMO, I call it TOURING!

Congratulations to OP for making it to 3!

My 2002 530i Sport Package wore 235/45 R17 tires, the exact same size as my TL. Sorry, I call both the TL and the 530i luxury cars in spite of the fact the both had the same size tires and three pedals under the dash.

My lady has a 2002 BMW 530i with manual tranny, and my TL is definitely faster!
I can still do 0-60 in under 6 seconds.

Yeah, no question my TL is quicker than my 530i; fuel economy is about identical. Both cars have iconic/timeless looks.

Ya, to me the TL is plenty fast. Around where I live there isn't much room to open it up. I would take less torque steer though.

I don't remember; do you have an Automatic model or one with the 6MT? I really have to try to invoke torque steer on my 6MT model (which has a mechanical LSD).

strange my signature is gone.
Ya manual. Must have hit a wet spot the other day. I played more with it today and youíre right. Straight line on the dry itís not too bad, but out of a corner you gotta hang on to that wheel.
