Magnaflow resonator and muffler

So i had a muffler installed and it had a nice deep tone not ricey at all almost stock sounding

I removed the mid muffler and resonator in exchange for straight pipes and now the cabin is crazy loud, you can hear the car startup from a block away

Will adding a magnaflow resonator do anything? Anyone have any experience with magnaflow

The previous owner of my TL replaced the stock mufflers with magnaflow, removed the mid-muffler and replaced the stock resonator with a magnaflow and it is still pretty loud and annoying. The magnaflow resonator will tone down the noise you've got, but it wont do a whole lot.

I'm going to put a small straight-through muffler back where the stock mid muffler is missing from and I'm hoping that brings noise levels close to stock-ish.

All of our systems use magnaflow parts, and we also use magnaflow resonators. Problem is that your using the stock piping with these mufflers and every muffler has a different tone so its really pick and choose, no real way to know if you need one or not till they're installed.
