Looking for a type s

I am on a look out for a type s . Crack free dash and accident free is a must . I would also prefer a car with a detailed maintainance record . I am in NYC , so I would prefer cars around the tri-srate area ! Thank you

Are you looking for an Automatic or 6-Speed Manual version? What's your budget?

8-10k is a decent range for a Type-S Auto.

Since you’re in the salt states, you may find one for 7-8k. But not with detailed maintenance and accident free..

Maybe with an uncracked dash though.

I had an AZ member screw me over when I was looking for a 6MT Type-S last November.

He got cold feet about selling AFTER I bought x2 International one-way tickets to JFK. I was cordial, though he stopped communicating with me.

Dont buy the 6MT KBP in the Blackmarket.

For an automatic Type-S? You may need to reconsider your price.

You may be right but I don’t see many with that low of miles and looking almost brand new.

If I was looking to spend $10,000 on a used car I don’t see any more reliable than mine and with all the options. Not to mention fully kept up with documented maintenance and clear title.

There were 1300 of the 6MT Type-S’ produced in 2008 by my calculations. Why sell a rare piece of Honda history?

There have been many sold within the last year in the same condition as yours, and with similar mileage as well. That said, if I recall correctly, $8,500 was about the max.

I think you’re right. Planned on keeping this car for a while longer and haven’t paid much attention to current values. Then Tesla comes out with free autopilot on the Model 3 and tax rebate goes in half this July so I’m pulling the trigger on the Performance edition.

Got to say I have loved this Acura though. Still looks good after a decade and runs like new. Few cars today can say that.
