Im blacking out my headlights and installing the LED strips this weekend . I found the DIY on how to do it all but didnt see how the wiring from the LED's was routed from the inside the headlight to outside the housing to hook power to them. Do I drill a small hole somewhere and route the wiring thru that and seal it off with silicone? Or is there a better/easier way?

Probably your best option unless there just so happens to be a parking light wire within the headlight itself. That would be ideal. It'd keep everything inside and properly water-tight.
