i just have to say I love this forum and i love all you guys...i love IHC, I love innacurate, acktl05, all you guys. Even you annoying guys mojafo and justnspace! lol you guys are so much better at annoying people than the ones in the BMW forums hahaha

Which forum? And for which car?

I'm on Bimmerforums daily, but 99% of the time I spend in the Z3 subforum. That particular forum is amazing, but other parts of BFc, eh, not so much. Forget about e46fanatics. M3forum and M5board are very good for those respective cars as well.

I've been through 4 iterations of headlights on my M Roadster, so I may be of some assistance, shoot me a PM if you'd like.

my brother has an e36 M3. when he got it already had ebay headlights in them. the ugly kind! the headlight/cornerlight once peice thing. ew i know. im looking at either ddm or djauto headlights. DDM says they come with hid kits and they pre install the angel eyes. but i want to see how the beam looks projected on so,thing not the illuminated headlights themselves. do you have any experience with any of these?

in terms of ebay projectors, they're not very good. Some people on the e46fanatics forum with the aftermarket projector headlights offered by their vendors are not happy with the output quality.

basically, it'll work, but it's definitely not OEM. Beam has hot spots and isnt uniform. I too was looking at E46 projectors for my dad's 325i. Decided against it.

in the e46 world they're called "p46" headlights.

ive been doing the same thing with helping out my brother and his 335i lol. The only time i got jealous was when i saw their "dyno chart" thread and they were putting up numbers around 400 rwhp and 400 trq with mods that cost around the same as an exhaust and jpipe for our car

Iv now lowered the subframe, done the infamous FSB swap, installed shocks and springs, hacked the navi, isimple, and the hardest mod of all.....drum roll...............................blue LEDs (haha got u) and many other mods

but soon i am attempting (with help) AT to MT conversion cuz my tranny is done.....let us pray

yeah i know man lol, my brother is thinking about getting the jb4 or procede chip/tune for his e90 335i. just by those simple plug and play chips alone he will be making huge numbers and he can make tons more power with different setups and maps to adapt to his mods. I love driving his car, its nice to actually feel that torque throw you back in your seat. Honestly, hes in a whole different league. So lucky! haha

just make sure that that he upgrades the oil cooler and the radiator. some kids just see the numbers and throw the chip in and blow their engine. thats what i like about dinan... they are honest. they WILL not let you buy software higher than stage 1 with out the oil cooler and they match bmw's 50k warrenty. I think thats awesome comming from a power tuning company
