Whats up,

This is my first post and I just bought a used TL and did not see it at night. Tonight when I turned the lights on I noticed the dash and stereo area does not light up. I am hoping that It is just something wrong (fuse, bulb, etc.) and can be fixed. Does your dash area illuminate?

Some peeps have had this problem. I think it was just an easy fix at the dealer. Maybe try doing a search on this subject. GL

what state are you in and what acura dealer did you pay the car from?

I am sorry if I insult you, but did you try to turn the brightness up? It is on the left side of the dash. There is a rocker switch. The lights may be really dim.

^^Agree^^ If this does not solve the problem then take it to the dealer. If it's an 05 it should still be covered under the factory warranty.

Ya I tried that and nothing. I am going to check the fuses then take it to the dealer. But my post was to find out that if there are in fact lights?

Yes, in fact the dash and stereo are ALWAYS illuminated which is why there is an indicator on the dash to tell you your headlights are on. Typically the dash only illuminates in other cars when the parking/headlights are on. In all '04+ TLs the dash and stereo are illuminated at all times while the car is on.
