Interiors!!!
I need to figure something out with my interior. My seats are trashed and Im not gonna replace them with 2000 bucks worth of OEM garbage. I am thinking about having an upholstery shop do Black Microfiber on my front and back seats but I don't know how it will look with the rest of the interior since it is Camel Tan. Whats everyone's thoughts. Im also going to replace all of the wood grain with with real carbon fiber. Thanks for the input and ideas guys.

An upholstery shop is perfect. You can get higher quality leather, suede, cloth etc of your color and texture choice.
Go crazy and add heated rear seats etc.
They'll have all kinds of options, your budget and imagination being the only real limits.

Depending on the turn around you could borrow or rent a car if the can pull off the job quickly...i think we'll all be at that point some time soon, OEM leather not that good imo.

i remember reading somewhere about the 04 leather quality was bad and the stitching was also bad, thus in 05 they made some improvments on the leather

I asked an upholstry shop about my headliner, it's burned with a cigarete and they told me 650-900$, I can't imagine how much they would want for seats. Good luck on that. If you are going with the option, may as well do something unique. 2 tone I say, something like a S4 interior

you can get some suede fabric from theses people to do the roof....looks great...http://www.distinctivefabric.com/
and you can get brand new leather oem replacement covers from http://www.katzkin.com/main.html .they quoted me 860 for the full set in oem color or you can mix match like suede in the middle and leather on the outside parts for extra cash....i put on a set of oem replacement covers on a lexus gs 300 a while back...takes a while because you need to take off the oem covers but they do sell the clips and tools to put on the new ones....very high quality leather.....

Katzkin told me they didn't have anything for the TL. Personally I think MicroFiber looksmore luxurious than Leather when done right. Only time I can tell. I met with the Service Manager at my dealer about a rust issue I have and I have to meet with the Factory Service Rep when he gets back from his holiday vacation. Maybe I can get them to do the seats too...
But keep giving ideas to me.
