If you total your 3G TL would you buy another one?

I have a 2001 IS300 so trust me I know all the quirks that Lexus has in store lol. On the other note don't ever buy Lexus 1st year on a new generation car.
Because its the 2nd best looking car (only after TL-S) and the best performance Japanese 3.5 liter has to offer. They only got out class by BMW 335i with that under rate motor.

No love my 07. But now she sits outside due to my 2015 Audi S4. The TL handling is showing her age. I don't mean to compare her to an S4 but it's not even close. Someone tried to do some pulls against me in his TL-s modded to hell and I just felt bad for him.

no matter what my next car will need some pep, nothing beats just being able to let loose and drive spirited for a bit to relax (as ironic as that sounds)

Spent this morning "test driving" a couple of BMW 128i's (2008 and 2009). Wow, the N52 (3.0L I6 making 230 hp and 200 lb-ft) is actually well matched to the perfectly balanced and light chassis. I need something that's RWD in my life... soon....

I would totally get another 3G TL. This time a Type S. I recently drove a 2017 TLX from the dealer as a loaner for a day and while the TLX obviously had a new car feel...Less understeer, body roll etc...It's interior was nowhere near as luxurious as my 07 TL...Plus I found my 07 to drive way smoother and with less road noise too.
So..Until Acura comes up with another proper TL...I'll stick to another 3G in case something happens to mine.
I should also note...The less said about the 09-14 TL the better!

too many hobbies...
If I had to buy a car today, I would definitely be test driving an Infiniti Q50 and... wait for it... the Lincoln MKZ 3.0T with drivers package. I know I am going to get hammered for this, but I think that Lincoln looks nice! And the 3.0T AWD trim has 400 hp! Feel free to flame away now...

I LOVE my TL. Its been a fantastic car. But as others have said, there is not acura replacement. All the new acuras are just plain boring. When my car meets its end, i will buy a BMW 3 series. I really like the 335i RWD. With a dinan tune those cars are damn near 400hp and you can pick up a low milage 2009-2014 for 15 to 23k

I would probably cry if my 07 TLs was totaled, I would have to go back to rwd or awd . That fwd torque steer is killing me. I haven't had a turbo car or Hatch back in my portfolio yet, i'm liking the VW golf R and Focus RS.

I agree. New tech and cars over 30k don't interest me even in the slightest. I'll be getting an AP1/AP2 with hardtop or an older 80s Japanese car when the right scenario lends itself.

RWD FTW, definitely....

Am surprised the CPO includes maintenance. From some reading it seems it should't.

Since the car is 3 years old. The factory warranty balance of 4yr/50k miles still applies. After that then the CPO adds an additional 2yr/50k more making a total of 6yr/100k. That's the standard but the dealer i went to offered an extra year of CPO so i said why not.

If you can afford trade in every 3 year or 5 years (if you got extended warranty) then BMW will be the best car to own. They drive so nice if not setting record for sport car bench mark. I will never able to afford both way either new or used with extended warranty so I might as well stuck with an Accord.

After owning a BMW, I say 330/335 is the MINIMUM. Sorry. They're also more reliable. 328 is the frankenchild of the 323.
