Like everything else they become a pain once it wears down. If you dont get the alignment just perfect you have to close the door slowly once its down to make sure the latch lines up or else. Also the shocks on they go out pretty quick from what I've see and doesnt hold the door up or lifts up without assistance. You may or may not have to extend the wires also.

Guys, guys, guys.......

Savage DID NOT ask for your opinion. He ask for help with links for videos.

This is HIS car, not yours. So if you don't have video links, do NOT post.

I won't lie...at on point I thought they were cool but as mentioned it seems there's a lot of engineering that goes into doing it right and having it last.
Good luck and keep us posted if you end up figuring it out.

A simple google search goes a long way.

Acura TL 2004-2008 4DR Vertical Lambo Doors Bolton Conversion Kit - part - VDCATL0408 [VDCATL0408]

Good luck, I sort of hope you go through with this. It'll be entertaining.

Truth be told; HE WONT BE ABLE TO DO THIS HIMSELF.
you're taking OEM hinges off, and adding vertical hinges.
If one has to ask how to do this; it's not a job that he can do.

I fuck with my own body panels and they are not correct. if I have a hard time with OEM peices, that line up and are designed for the car.....
dude is gonna be in a world of hurt when he cant get the door to close.

the link above to lambo door conversion kit; says it's easy...but fuck, there's so many things that can go wrong.
and I remember the older kits leaking.

and isnt the forums ALL about opinions?
like, we are all talking out of our asses. no one knows if this is possible. no one has done it before.

if dude really wants to do this; his best bet would be to take it to a shop and get quotes on the install

I think he should take it to the professionals to get this done. If he wants it, it'll be good to get it done right.
Plus, it will stand out because not that many acra tls have doors that open upward like a lmarborghini.

wiring won't reach, would need to extend your wires, I'd buy a couple rows of wire in different colors so you can extend the appropriate wires properly.

Also, subscribing to see if this actually happens (but I don't think it will, but hopefully you'll prove me wrong)

Now we're getting somewhere! Teamwork!
Also, Thoiboy. Can you please rephrase your advice in the form of a video to keep the thread OT.
Thank you.
