What do you pay for Insurance???

i got my insurance cards the other day in the mail and i was curious what others were paying

1) What do you pay?
2) Who is your provider?
3) What is your age?
4) Have you had any wrecks, tickets, or others?
5) What year Tl do you have?
6) I only want to know if the car is in your name and your name only, b/c if i had my dad/mom as my primary driver it would be cheaper, but i bought my car after a few years of hard work so honestly i love paying and having the insurance in my name b/c it reminds me every month how fortunate i am, although i would love to combine all the insurance checks and supercharge it, but that is another day and another story.

Me
1) 1435.76 full coverage per year(119.64 a month) with a 500 deductable
2) Alfa
3) 22
4) seatbelt ticket
5) 2006 acura tl
6) It is in my name

dont know if this is high, low, or medium in price but what i do know is it is considerably cheaper than my 2002 is300 was.

One of the big factors that will effect peoples rates are their coverage amounts and deductables.

Without that information this comparison is useless.

Another major factor is LOCATION!!!! You can live on one street and move to the next block and your insurance could go up, just because of the area. So you should include location as well.

Actually you really like your Underwriter, your Agent has nothing to do with rates.....assumeing he didn't lie about you in some way. Then he is just setting himself up for a suit against his own E&O policy.

Yeah, I guess you could call him that. He works for Chubb who goes through multiple different Insurance companies, and when I have problems or anything, he's the guy I call!

Either way, I really like him! I know he doesn't lie, but because I still live at home, my policy and my parents policy as well as the homeowners is all in one big policy, so it saves me (and my parents) a lot of money in the long run through discounts etc...

How much is your insurance?

Well I am lucky enough to be buying a TL very soon.

My question is, how much do you guys pay for insurance? I am calling USAA tommorow to see of coures but I just want to see if my chain is being jerked around or not.

Age: 21
Location: Central, FL
Traffic History: 1 speeding ticket on record.
Sex: male

Thanks in advance,
Dooley

When I was 21 w/ 2 speeding tickets I was paying around $845 every six months. That was with mad discounts though through State Farm such as multi-line discount, good student, and good driver. One thing about state farm though is they tier you based upon your credit. So if your credit isn't good don't expect a good rate starting out.
