I have a 3g TL and the service light came on for the a12 service. Did anyone get this done at the dealership??? If so, how much did they charge??? I went to 2 different dealers and one quoted me for $220 + tax, and another quoted me for $240 + tax.

This is what they're going to do....

Oil change, tire rotation, break inspection, replace A/C or polon filter, replace engine air filter. And they're quoting me for over $200. Sounds a bit expensive, no?

They are mostly quoting you for labor.

Oil change (4-5 quarts) with filter is around $20 bucks tops

Tire Rotation free at Discount Tire

Brake inspection (can be done when the wheels are rotated), and is free if you look at the pads yourself which is all they do.

AC filter $30~ bucks at the most

Air Filter Engine $10 bucks

So a total of $60 in parts.

But if you have them do it, it goes on record that it was done if any issues come up.

I never brought my car back to dealership for service after my first bad experience. My car was vibrating, prob due to the bad tires that came with car, that is another issue. When i brought to dealership i advised them not to do anything without my permission on the car if it was going to cost me anything. So when i went to pick up the car they rebalanced all my tires and charged me almost $50 for it, i was like i never approved it, they stated if they would of did it and the problem was still there they wouldnt of charged me but it fixed it so now i am charged. i told him i just payed someone else about a week ago to rotate and balance my tires. If they werent balanced correctly i would of went back to place where i just got it done. At the end i had to pay the money. So now they can go F themselves, ripoffs !

look in the 3g gararge to find out how to change cabin filter behind glove box

my total was 31.09 for both filters with shipping

so at the end the a12 service will cost me about 45 bucks

u go to dealeship i hear it over $200
