Not 100% sure what you mean but hopefully one of these videos from this thread can help you with your problem.

Mabye this: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/g-100-diy-led-interior-conversion-part-v-cluster-console-easiest-bunch-747874/

You can also look through here and see if you find anything: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-garage-faq-3g-tl-newbies-553554/

I'll see if I can find anything in the service manual.

does removing this give you access to glass / plastic that is in front of the gauge? After i bought my car i noticed that it had a haze on it, almost like dried soap and i've been dying to get in there and clean it out..

Mine's like that as well. I used Meguiars PlastX Plastic Cleaner and it cleaned most of it off. You could give that a try. Can get a bottle at your local autozone.

Thanx guys, I needed this. Anyone know if the 07-08 base cluster will fit the 04-06 tl's? (plug & play)

I had that happen one time when my (then) four year old was A) not feeling well, B) strapped in his car seat in the right rear of my car, and C) he projectile barfed and hit the entire instrument cluster. His puke actually ate into the plastic protecting the gauges.
