I am thinking to get one of the mini projectors out there to retrofit into our Type S fog lights but just curious has anyone done this mod before ? I am asking for your own experience not because of you "heard or " have seen". Please share if you've already done it.

I've got some morimoto matchbox projectors waiting to be done, just haven't found the time to do it the fog light lenses have been removed already, just gotta mount/adjust..

Finally ..... is the morimoto matchbox projectors only option here ? Why not get different projectors and install it ? And what do you mean by this " just haven't found the type to do it " ?

Did you bake the fog to remove the lense ? I just finished my CRV headlights with H1 mini projectors. They look pretty good.

I used a heat gun because it was small enough.

Ha that make sense and I'm thinking to use this Projectors ...what you think ? And what's the dimension of ur matchbox ? Do you think you can fit that in the bowl w/o cutting to make a larger in the back ?

I have Lexus ES 300 fog lights in mine. To be honest there isn't much room to fit a mini projector in these fogs. I've seen people use Nissan Maxima projectors. The one thing I would worry about is how much the projector sticks out of the rear. My drivers side does smash into the air filter of my CAI.

Nate, this is a matchbox projector so it should be smaller than the mini one . I haven't got it yet but I will update this thread...stay tune. what year is your ES300 fog lights ? Im guessing your using the yellow projectors from 92-97 ES300..correct ? If so, any pics ?
