No, it does not affect us.

3g TL wasnt on the original recall, but Honda just recently expanded the recall. I havent been able to find if we're on the new expanded recall yet...

This is the latest listed 11/4:
Manufacturer: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
SUMMARY:
American Honda Motor Co. (Honda) is recalling certain model year 2001-2005 Honda Civic, 2003-2004 Civic CNG and Element, 2002-2005 CR-V, 2002-2004 Odyssey, 2003-2005 Accord, Pilot, Civic Hybrid, and Acura MDX, 2005 Acura RL and 2006 Honda Ridgeline vehicles originally sold, or ever registered, in geographic locations associated with high absolute humidity. Specifically, vehicles sold, or ever registered, in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Saipan, Guam, and American Samoa are addressed by this recall. Upon deployment of the passenger side frontal air bag, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator to rupture.

More may be coming depending on our on the ball government.

This was 8 hrs ago:
Japanese airbag maker, Takata, has refused to comply with a U.S. government demand for an expanded recall, so Honda will expand its recall of vehicles with Takata driver-side airbags nationwide, according to reports.

It seems to have covered nearly all Honda products of the era except the 3GTL.

I had a scratch on my airbag cover and the coating on the emblem is coming off. I could have used a new airbag for the recall's sake.

Last thing I would want is some C tech poking and prying around my car's interior to replace airbags.

Now, if Acura recalled all 3G TL's to receive new paint jobs due to shitty clearcoat, I'd be all over that. Lol.

It's only held in place by two screws... And a clip or two for the wire harness. A monkey could do it without ruining anything.

For sure a monkey could do it. I know because I've done it too. But my local Acura that can't do anything right. They must be donkeys then.
