Thumbs up Help with Side markers LED Change.

Sup guys,

I have a few qestions. I have notice that some TL drivers have replaced there side markers to being 2 colours. It will stay white while normal driving and when you signal right the white colour changes to amber flashing . Anyone tell me where I can get these and what they are called? Do you have to change the hole marker or is it just the bulbs that you change after removing the marker lens? I have also noticed people doing it with the light in the headlight signal . Anyone have any links to pass threads about this I could not find any.
Hoping to gey JnC to do my headlight mod as well!

Please any help would be great

For cleared headlights (what JnC does), we are using the switchback LED bulb in the turn signals. There are 2 types: Type 1 shines white and flashes amber-white-amber. Type 2 shines white and flashes amber-off-amber. The bulbs are a direct fit, but you need to install resistors to prevent "hyperflashing". Here is a pic of the Type 1 bulbs I am using. Note that I took a Sharpie to the bulb to make it blacker:

The sidemarkers are custom made using a Type 2 switchback. The marker needs to be removed and cut open. As mentioned, gerzand here on AZ does this work for a fee. Contact him directly for pricing info.
Here are my switchback DEPO sidemarkers:

Hi guys
thanks for the info so far, Can those led lights that are going in the headlight be installed with out having to remove the bumper ? Or they can only be installed when the headlight mod is being performed?
So gerzand is the guy to talk to about the side markers. I will have to try and contact him but I still cant pm anyone yet.

Your light look sweet man cant wait to have it done on mine.

Switchbacks in the headlights are pointless unless you have clear diffusers or no diffusers.. You can just pull the fender liner back a little and reach your arm up there to replace them.
