HELP! Is my 05 Acura TL worth fixing?
attached are the images of the damage. Should I fork over the money to fix it? Insurance won’t since it was my fault. Car has about 130,000 miles.
Need RD to make a decision soon, help!!

headlights hazy as hell, makes one wonder how much you really care about the car? let it go, I don't think it's worth fixing

The damage doesn't look too horrible bad, if the car is in otherwise good condition it might be worth fixing.

Hmmmm. Hood, passenger front fender, bumper cover, grille and headlight. Plus paint, abor and potential internal damage (radiator, AC lines).
If it were me, I might consider doing it on my own. With exception to paint of course. I doubt it would be <$2000 with paint and parts. A body shop doing it all? I'm no pro but I'm guessing a minimum of $3K.
'05 Auto with 130K? I'm guessing it's worth around $5K or so. So my answer is Nope.

It could be worth fixing if he is doing the work himself or if he knows a auto body/mechanic that could give him a hand. I just fixed mine 2008 acura tl automatic with 195k miles. I spent a little less than 1000 dollars overall. I was able to buy many of the pieces from junkyards, craigslist, facebook marketplace, and amazon. I'm in the process of fixing an 06 acura tl manual with 150k miles now. i ended up buying while i was looking for parts on the 2008. As long as it doesn't need a radiator support, with patience and work it can be back to normal. I think that beats having a car payment.
