Hello,

Brand new here, and am hoping someone can help me identify the part seen in this post. It was loose next to the battery (on the passenger side) when I took the battery out, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is, or where it goes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The only visible marking on the part is "HONDA >PP< CAV 1"

its a cover that goes behind your radiator support.

It's a cover that prevents things from being dropped directly into the air intake tube. Not super important but it just clips in.

There you go...just in case you are still unclear about where it goes. :chuckle:
