Happy 15th Birthday!
I can't believe it was 15 years ago today that I took delivery. Its been a long haul including 2 accidents and keeping it up largely thanks to Paul, our star master mechanic here in Nawth Jerzy. It's taken a bunch of work to keep it going, but I'm prevailing and can STILL do 0-60 in under 6 seconds!
Here's a list of what I've done the last few years to get to the 307K miles I have now:
Timing Belt/Water pump
Clutch and Flywheel
Clutch Master Cylinder
Clutch Slave Cylinder
Clutch Lines & Hoses
Brake and clutch pedal covers
Motor mounts
Valves adjusted
Rear stabilizer bar end links, bushings, and brackets
Lower Control Arm Bushings including the compliances
Rear lower control arms
Ball joints - upper & lower
CV Driveshafts
Spark plugs
Battery cables
All Hoses including brake lines
Horns
Headlights and ignitor
Navigation DVD unit rebuilt
CD Player rebuilt
Bluetooth/HFL module
PCV Valve
Brake light switch
Rear brakes & callipers
Bulbs in the Steering wheel and around Nav screen
Glovebox trunk switch
Front seat leather
Accelerator Sensor
Hood struts
Driver's door seal
Exhaust System Flex Pipe
Center Console Lid
Trunk seal
Power steering pump
Steering Rack (& Pinion)
Front stabilizer bushings
Front Stabilizer Links
Subframe mounts
Tyiz (of course)
Front right and Left rear door actuators
Front Struts (shocks & springs)
Front Brakes & callipers
Driver's door pin switch
Driver's door seal
Radiator
Tail light LED panels
Roof XM antenna

Added backup camera
Added DRL module

Looking forward to making it to at least 350K if not 400!

If we ever have a sunny day again, I'll take another picture so the DGP shines through.

Burning Brakes
I have only had mine a year and I bought it with 174k on the odo and done about $2000 in maintenance/mods to bring the car back to life. I hope my car sees that number one day, Congrats. PS probably helps its a 6mt, only way to go!

On 5-1-19 my almost 15 year old car left me stranded on the beltway with 329,000 miles the transmission just stooped. The 05 TL was amazing really amazing. one time it didn't start because the starter died and one time I had a blow out other than that it just ran. I purchased a new car 2018 Honda accord touring on 5-4-19 let the new journey begin.

329K on the original tranny?
Wow! Good job! You made it much, much further than most!
I know you got a new Accord, but still, I'd put a tranny in the TL and drive it another 329K miles, or sell it to someone who would love it!

Happy Birthday!!
The only thing I wish the TL had was a more modern stereo / Bluetooth connectivity. Playing tunes from the phone doesn't sound too good via the headphone jack.
wow, that's a lot of miles! enjoy your new accord, what do you think of it so far?

I really like the styling of the new Accord and the gas mileage is amazing if you stay out of the turbo. The new accord has more torque than the tl but less horsepower . The Accord is faster than the tl was and is faster than the new tl. overall I cant say I love the car yet I have only driven it 500 miles I like it!!!! it is amazingly fast. I am looking for a honda forum like this one anyone have a suggestion the one i'm finding are lame .

Nice, enjoy it for many more years. thanks for your feedback on the Accord. Ya I do wish the TL had a bit more pickup in the lower rpm band. A few times I thought I could pull a lane change pass without a downshift, I was wrong every time.
high RPM, full throttle acceleration of the TL is plenty for me.

Agree on all your points I loved the tl it was just a solid car. I gave the new 2.0T touring and the low end trupa post is just sick it puts a smile on my face every time. however 90% of the time im just commuting 100 miles a day and its really nice knowing that if I rally need the boost I got it under the hood take care

Honda-Tech for ricers, Drive Accord is probably your best bet, but I find AZ the best!

One on the right for me
For the first five or six years I was able to either put it in the garage or park it under some type of cover. It was washed and waxed frequently. I gave up once the paint started to fade and peel in about 2014. Ten years wasnt a bad run with it considering the mileage I have on it. I still miss when it was clean thought.
