Gas Tank Flap inside Gas Hole???? 2008 TL
So I have been thinking about this every time I fill up, but have forgot to post. I noticed that my 2008 TL doesn't have a little metal flat over the gas tank hole like most cars I've owned in the past. When I take off the gas cap, I can see right down the gas tube. Is mine missing the little metal gas flap cover that opens when you put the gas pump in?

this question has been asked before...the TL doesn't have it.
on a previous post sum guy thought he always had it and he thought it fell in the tank and was asking if it could do any damage LOL.

Ha Ha!
I figured it was something really odd and probably not common. Tried a quick search but I guess the words didn't find it.
Glad I am not the only one, I was thinking along the same lines as that other guy that it fell in and may cause trouble.

That's funny because my brother took the car to the gas station to fill up and told me these exact words;
"Hey I think we need to go to the dealer because they need to fix that missing flap in the gas tank."
