Call me the world's biggest procrastinator, I've earned it.

I have the modified schematic drawn up at home and it very closely resembles the one here (can't view it due to being @ work), but the concept is the same: use the combination light switch to control the relay as opposed to the control module.

I already looked at which connectors/wires need to be accessed and I got under the dash to find them. They are easy enough to find with the manual. Now I actually have to find some time to do it. I actually drive around with my kick panel off to motivate me to get this done lol.

My one reservation is against splice connectors. Being that the automotive environment is so harsh (heat cycling, humidity, mechanical stresses), I tend to only make solder connections when doing any wiring. This one is going to be a bitch though because I have no idea how I'm going to solder anything underneath the dashboard. Anybody have suggestions in this respect?

I'm still waiting for a method similar to the 04-06's without having to splice into my hid fogs with an inline fuse etc.

Do you have to open the fuse box to get to the wires behind the relay?

Using fuse taps, and connecting to ACC power/Constant power will allow you to independently run your fog lights

would you be able to share it with me? I was in the middle of trying this out and I had to put everything back together feeling that I may accidentally cut something I wasn't supposed to/ Thanks!

Reviving an old thread here... Anyone have any pics or clearer instructions on what wires to cut and splice that are connected to the fuse/relay box? I found 2 connectors that have the blue/black wire and a blue/red wire. Don't know which is the one to tap into.
