Front Bumper Paint Job 3G Garage #E-005
Here is a new mod for the front of your TL. I always wanted to paint the Acura on the front bumper but didn't know how to do it. Finally figured out an easy way. Materials: Contact paper, exacto knife, blue masking tape, paint.
Pic #1 Place contact paper over the Acura and make it as smooth as possible around the letters with no wrinkles.
Pic #2 With exacto knife, cut out the inside lettering that you want painted.
Pic #3 Select your paint type/color.
Pic #4 Cover everything else with paper to avoid getting paint on anything else and spray the letters.
Pic #5 Let it dry and slowly peel everything off. Now you have a custom paint job.

PsychoRx - looks good How many layers did you spray on? Are you going to put a layer of clear coat or just leave as is?
Personally I think I would go with the decals just so I have the ability to remove it without much hassle but this is an alternative method.

I went the easier route and bought front bumper decals off eBay, but your method is a lot more customizable.
Thanks for the info!

Looks great. I'm guessing you have some sort of Anthracite/blue theme going with your car. Either way, nice work.

I think I did about 6-8 sweeps with the can to cover the letters real well. Didn't want to overspray and cause any runs. The can sprays a pretty wide path. Wasn't planning on clear coating it. If I have to I'll repaint it. I wanted more of a permanent one off look with the spray.
