Found my old '06 TL, now a salvage....flood dmg'd

So doing a random google vin search i came across my old TL i sold to a local dlr back in april 2011 i believe w around 65k or 66k miles, a member of this forum purchased it and was able to track me down on here. Sometime in 2013 he traded it into a dealership. Other day i decided to see if i could see where it was now and this is what i found...

cool story bro!

cars are cars.
they are going to get damaged, flooded, stolen, etc.

sure, she was a clean example and she was yours( i see the sentimental value) but again, she was and will be a car.

hope you dont cry too hard for her.

guess you can be glad it did not happen while you owned it. Cars are either repairable or replaceable. Loss of loved ones is not.

I felt the same way when I saw my old silverado SS after I had traded it in for my first TL. I took such great care of it and it looked like shit when I saw it. I even left him a not saying I had another key for the tonneau cover and that bitch never even called me about it.

That's one nice looking car and I'm sure it'll be back on the road in no time.
