TL is a great car to work on as well!
I know everyone likes to talk shit about your ride, but I think you picked up a good one.

Some people say it helps with cooling "more flow". I think it looks like shit so I would deal with the heat. Keep the updates coming!

Are you planing on raising the ride height back closer to standard and putting the wheels back where they belong?

its on coilovers and i already raised it a bit but im not to confident of they can stand being raised anymore looking into getting a better suspension and wheels that is what im saving for at the moment.

Also saving up for a R34 skyline luckily i have about 6 years before the one i want is legal for the US

Car looks pretty good I like the color with the wheels. I advise to not tint your headlights if you actually like seeing where you are going at night and it does not look good. Did you wet sand and buff the lights? If not do that first and if you did already do that I would then use a UV protectant that some restoration kits include that will make the headlights very clear, or you can carefully spray a clear coat over the restored lights. Good luck with your project

i wet sanded the lights but i only used a 400 grit and i did spray it with a uv protectant i got from Wal-Mart i plan on resanding it with a higher grit so that they become even more clear the tint i ordered is not to dark and since it cost me like $5 i might put it on my sisters white civic to see how it holds up

Is my car cursed or am i?

Its been a while since i updated the community on my car but as you can see it hasnt been too good first my dumb ass backed into a pole and broke my tail light 100% my fault so i order some so i can replace bith while im at it then my rim cracked the following weekend which was another expense of about 700 to get some genuine acura rims from a guy i know. I was happy i got my tail light fixed new rims in a week and then im at the gas station and a brand new car backed right into me and fucked up my bumper and grill and since she was on her fucking phone she didnt see my car in her fucking back up camera. How stupid do you have to be to back into a car when you have a camera that shows exactly what is behind you? Im quite certain at this paoint that the universe hates me

Sorry to hear, this could be a real underdog build! At least if you have to get it replaced you can upgrade to a TL-S bumper or get the A-spec kit!

Dang man, that's a rough patch of bad luck. If you are going to replace the bumper, I also recommend getting a Type-S bumper if you can find one for a reasonable price. Best wishes...

its my first car so i expected a bit of a fix it car and for only $1800 its was a steal i put about $50 into the engine in new bolts and gaskets. Just got some new wheels just need to raise the car a bit more for a fit that wont scrape and as for the bumper i was already thinking of getting a new one so its not to big of a loss. Trust me once i pick up a second job ill be able to buy all the cosmetic parts needed and possibly a vinyl wrap my baby will be looking better than the day it was driven off the lot
