What do you guys think?
I got my 2004 acura tl with manual transmission in January but have not been able to work on it because i am currently lacking funds i plan on raising it since it is difficult to drive since the tire scraping and am looking into getting a new bumper and side skirt any suggestions or comments should i raise it back to stock?

What's with the wheels? Are they recessed? Usually you see spacers to extend the stance but that guy went the other way I guess he had to do that to lower it that much but it looks :ghey:. Get that fixed right away.

save for some new driveshafts

Think I can live with everything except the hood risers. Thought they were exclusive to the Civic boy-racers, and that's only when the engine's swapped and the extra room is needed.

Yeah, most definitely get rid of those. I don't mind the wheels. It's just that they're recessed - e.g.- closer inwards to the body that they should be. I'm not even sure how that's accomplished. The car needs to be raised a bit and the wheels extended back to stock. It seems to me like he recessed them in order to achieve the drop without rolling the fenders.

actually the engine is not stock the guy rebuilt it and added raiser to a part of the engine so because of that the hood also needed a raiser im not a big fan of how it looks and might do an engine swap back to original i already have one since my dad had bough one for his tl but the problem ended up being fixed with a motor mount

An engine raiser huh..
You sure it wasn't just an Intake manifold spacer or something?

The guy probably has an MDX manifold spacer
Replace the spacer with a OE manifold spacer
You need to remove the intake manifold
Make sure you're easy on all the fasteners and re-fasten to spec and in order according to the FSM
No need to do an "engine swap"
I have no idea what a motor mount and your dad's TL have in common
You confused breh

Every time this thread pops up I think, "Please somebody, shoot that car and put it out of its misery"; it would be the merciful thing to do.

Finally had real time to work on my baby
After waiting on the clips to reattach the sideskirt i had time to put it together along with raising the car so its not such a pain in the ass to drive. I still have alot i want to do for cosmetics but that will have to wait for a few months when i can afford the mods. For now im going to try and focus on lowering the hood back to stock and fixing the small mechanical problems it has.oh i also restored the headlights like someone had suggested they didnt come out the best but im also waiting on headlight tint which i feel will halp hide the imperfections from my restoration.
