I think you should post pics of the different options on your 1st page with customer examples. Your other thread shows the 3" polished tips fitting on a base bumper. So the regular 3" tips will only work on a A-spec bumper? Do the polished sit right on a A-spec bumper. Also the 3.5" tips will only work on Type S bumper. Do you have any pics of the 996 style tips on the TL?

But I want to see how boss the base tip looks in person, first.

For additional pictures, see my thread in the sponsored sales section:
https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/socal-autosports-back-update-original-3-quads-back-stock-861045/

I'll list what fits and what doesn't:
-"3" quad exhaust tips" require the aspec kit. They will not look right in the stock bumper openings without the aspec lip.
-"3" polished quad exhaust tips" will fit with or without the aspec kit. They will look good either way.
-"Porsche 996 style" tips will fit with or without the aspec lip.. These will also look great either way.
-"3.5" quad exhaust tips" will only fit the type s rear bumper or lip. They are too wide for the base bumper.

You can refer to my website to know which 3" tips I'm referring to as I used the names they have on my website.

That's Jayvee's base but those tips will also look great on a type s

Any pics of the 3.5" tips on a car?

Thinking about going with the Type-S bumper when I replace my current "dmamaged" one.

No, the $110 will fit only with an aspec lip. The ones with the polished tips that are $109.99 will fit with or without an aspec lip.

Torontonian here too. I'm down to get in on a group buy deal if SoCal can give a better deal on shipping for multiple orders.

I PM'd him earlier for advice on which tips to get..
This what he told me quote
''For the base aspec kit, the best options will be the 3" Polished Quad Tips or the 3" Quad Tips. My personal suggestion is the 3" Polished quads as those generally have a cleaner fit and finish. You can also consider the Porsche 996 style tips as those will fit as well.''

Looks like the polished tips fit better even I kinda feel like the quad 3'' look better.

I'm gonna ask him if he can get us a small group deal for 3 sets so far.. Maybe we'll have more who knows.

Also found these..are these the same as the SoCal 3" Quad and 3" Polished Quads?

http://www.dtexhaust.com/product_inf...pok64odil5skf1

http://www.dtexhaust.com/product_inf...pok64odil5skf1

send an email to them and they seem to have a distribution office in London, Ontario..might be sort of local.

For those interested in Canada....DT Exhaust is selling these tips for $49 each and free shipping to Toronto...Group buy of 3-4, he said he might only drop the price $10 bucks from the total price.
