I've done this.........I'm at work right now but I wanna say I installed the Nokya Hyper Yellow 9006 bulbs. They are very very yellow too. Sorta a PITA to install but not too bad. Wear plastic gloves so you don't get oil on the bulb itself. Looks sweet!!
I suppose you'd want pics.........again I'm at work so can't post them from here.

Hmmmm may be 9005, I'd have to check at home......you can always look in the manual too.

Yes, they are indeed 9005's and the place I bought them from was:
www.advancespeedshop.com

Direct link:

Got them pretty quick too. Anyway........good luck with your mod.

I've seen the LED's on a local TL-S and you can barely see them during the day. At night they look good. But the yellow Nokya's are sweet day or night.

I just converted from nokya yellow DRL to white LEDs...I had fun with yellow while they lasted....

I can definitely see them nice and bright in the day time. I was following someone on the highway one sunny day and he told me how good they look from behind~

nice and bright I tell ya!

haha...I got the same led bulbs from v-leds.
the difference between my TL and your friend's TL is my DRL doesn't have the nipple brackets in front of the bulbs.

our canadian TL don't have that.

What brand? This can be such a minefield of confusion; like, how the heck is someone to know how they'll look ... once installed? There's SO MANY brands on the market now, hard to know what to take a chance on.
thanks

You probably wont get a response as this thread is 8 years old, however stick with some of the more reputable brands and you should be ok, ebay ones are hit or miss. vleds, diode dynamics, endlessrpm are just a few brands people use on here.
