Door Visors and Moonroof visors worth the money?

im thinking about buying a moonroof visor and door visors for my silver 04 TL. You guys who have it mind sharing your thoughts on it? Also do you think it improves the looks of the TL any? Heres a pic of a TL i found with both.

personally, i think the window visors look nice but the moonroof looks out of place. it takes away from the aerodynamic-ness of the car, but the visors add to it and make the car flare out a little wider. im planning on buying the window visors soon but i wouldnt buy that mullet

i mean sunroof visor

Non-smoker here who loves his window visors. I've had people come up to my car (even my own Dad) and not even realize that I had visors installed. They flow with the lines of the car real well, especially if you have tinted windows. Worth the money, just do it!!

However, no on sunroof visors.

So who are you guys getting your window visors from and how much are you paying for them? I'm asking because I'm thinking of doing this mod myself.

I like the Roof visor had one on every one of the 7 Honda Products I have owned over the past 26 yrs... I will be installing the window visors shortly they really help with in-cabin air flow. Open Road Acura of Wayne NJ sells them thru their store on EBay $145.00 + $9.00 for shipping. They are an EXCELLENT parts supplier and sell below dealer cost ($203.00 for visors normal) here is the link:

In summer time is great to have window visors sice all TL's interion are leathers and when its raining you could keep the windows little open so the winshield would not condense.
I love the visors on my car but I will not get the sunroof visor it look out of place.
good luck with the desion and hope to se your car on the road

I have the WeatherTech visors and I am very happy with them. As mentioned above, the lines of the aftermarket visors are slightly different, but I got a great deal in the AZ Black Market and I am happy. I do not have pics of them yet or I would post---sorry.

I'm going to be the black sheep here and tell you that I think they are a tacky addition to the car. IMO, they only belong on trucks. But, then again, what do I know? lol

Seriously tho, if you like them, don't hesitate to install them. I'm one of the biggest proponents of personalizing a car so it stands out from the others. I say go for it!

Thumbs up

I absolutely love my window visors. Got them from Tim @ Hondacuraworld. He was having a special at the time. I think that they are a must have. A buddy of mine loves it but I say nay on the moonroof visor...

It's all a matter of taste. Personally I think the window & roof visors look tacky and take away from the flow of the car. I see a black TL-S like mine on the highway on the way in to work that has the window visors and every time I see that car, it reaffirms my decision not to put them on mine. IMHO, I also think all the TLs pictured above would look better without the visors.

I normally despise them both but the door visors don't look bad on the 3rd gen TL.

You know, in the past I always hated window visors on any car too. However, once I saw what it looked like on the TL I instantly changed my mind and had to put them on my car.

I got mine for $159.00 from Hondacuraworld.com, plus i get a free shade (even though i already have one, but hey theres nothing wrong with having an extra). So it was a pretty good deal plus free shipping. The price is almost the same on all online stores, but most don't offer free shipping.

WeatherTech Visors

Here are my visors:

Great deal on BM + functionality (really keeps the water out of the car) > form (OEM)!
