What's the name of your TL?
After reading many posts, it is obvious that many of you are very passionate about your cars and the way it is taken care of. I would say it’s safe to say that some of you treat them like your own children.

hahaha Funny topic. I'm curious to know how many people name their cars. I always name my cars. I don't have a TL YET, soon though, but my current car's name is Lucy. Never know what a car will be named till you drive it though. They each have their own personalitiy.

Hmmm... I thought about naming my TL. I named both of my guitars: Christine and Gwen. Naming a car Christine would seem to be asking for trouble. I'll have to think about it.

This is my 2nd new Acura. My first was a '90 Integra (Estelle)... God, I loved that car, but I got to that point where I wanted to drive a grown-up car...... When I sold her before getting the TL, she had 180k+ miles and she ran like a champ. Day in and day out, she never let me down. If only I could say that about past girlfriends
Longest distance driven in one trip: No trips over 100 miles yet... But looking forward to it!!!
Identifying marks: None. I try to keep her sparkly and new. Working on getting an Acurazine sticker for her, but no luck to this point. If anyone can help me dress Emma up, please PM me!!
She's not the fanciest TL out there, but she's still beautiful to me!!

Only last week I made my annual visit to my main man's grave at a pet cemetary in West Jersey. Teddy was a tabby with white undercoating, white 'bib', a white spot on his nose, and 4 white paws. True family cat as he came from my aunt/uncle/cousin's house where I knew his parents. Later on, my cousin gave John Lennon 2 of his younger brothers and sisters from a later litter while she was working at Record Plant studios here in NY where he recorded all his post-Beatle albums.
He's been gone since 1979 and part of the heart breaker was that up to a week after he passed, I had cats I'd never seen before coming to my door meowing looking for him, something the lady who's the pet cemetary proprietor never heard of. I then buried his mother a few years later.
Pets give unconditional love and when something's bothering them, they can't tell you where it hurts. Their loss can be at least as if not more devistating than loosing a human member of the family.

If I ever have to resort to giving my car names....someone please call the men in the white coats.....lol.
Ok ok I used to refer to my previous car, a 2000 VW Jetta GLX, as the Silver Bullet every now and then....but Anthracite Bullet doesn't seem to have the same zing....

Mine is called Acula (pronounced Akuwa), which means shark in my language (Bulgarian). It's a male, the way I see it is the 6MTs are Males, and the 5ATs are Females....I also got the HFL on male voice so it sounds like it's talking with it's voice. haha
P.S. I see the auto (female) as a shark with no teeth lol....just needs the manual tranny.

What is your TL's name and how did you name it?
Well I name my cars according to the first letter of the model. TL= name must start with T. My name is Tony and my car had to be a girl so I picked Tory. I like that name, seems sexy and thought it was neat that it is close to my name.

The Avatar...reason being, my son watches a cartoon by the same name for which warring fractions are able to manipulate one of four classical Greek elements - earth, wind, fire or water. The Avatar is the one being with the power to control all four elements and restore peace to the world. I found the name fitting since, in my opinion, the TL is perfect balance of luxury, performance, style and value.
