Do they drill holes on the bumper to put the front license plate on?

I absolutely hate it, and I have ask my sales to make sure that when the car comes to tell the service guys to not drill holes on the front bumper.

It could be a sales pitch, but he said no drilling required. The front bumper has pre-drilled holes, and some tabs of sorts to cover the holes up. Any truth to that?

See, my 350Z bumper only has small indents on them so I had to make sure the service guys don't drill holes on the bumper.

Just want to verify, thanks!

Yes, no drilling required. Holes are there and you can pop in and pop out the covers at any time. There's about a hundred threads already on this. Next time you want to know something, do a quick search first.

Geez..someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. My advice is to make sure they include the plugs as mine did not come with them and they are a pain to get after the purchase

What are you, the forum police? Let the guy search if he wants or post if he wants. His choice, not ours.

The dealer ordered the plugs for my car, I took it in for the new tires today and found out they want to charge me for them. Ah well, if they're cheap I'll pay, if they cost a lot I'll just tell them to forget it, just make sure the damn car doesn't vibrate with the new tires...

Yes, tell your dealer not to drill any holes. Unbeknownst to me, my dealer drilled a small hole at the top of the plate.

It's just a common curtesy which helps reduce the number of new threads.

Well, you have a good point as many new comers forget to do so (I know I did). I guess your comments tend to me thorny time to time .

Curtesy, eh?? Interesting concept....I generally prefer courtesy, but maybe that's just me .

Honestly, I get annoyed at times too, but its not like we have talked about this topic in the last day or two, and if you are so irritated, don't offer an answer to the question.

Hey, VTEC:

Amen to your comment. BTW, how did you get a cool nick name "What's a TL?"?

Saying you weren't aware there was a search function or that the search results were overwhelming is one thing, but saying you are too lazy to read the search results is somewhat rude. It's basically saying that your time is more valuable than everyone else's.

I can understand that sometimes it is difficult to find the right search terms to get a manageable number of hits - this happens to me all the time. There is no harm in asking a question and we have the option to read/reply to it or not. Just please don't make it sound like everyone else's time is less important than yours.

Just my $0.02
