DIY Motive Brake bleed
Decided to do my brake flush and some more on my TL this weekend. I'm currently at 120 k miles and dont know when the last time brakes were flushed but figured it would be a perfect opportunity to use some gadgets.
Here's a shot at my prepwork

You all may be wondering what the hell am i doing with 2 mitvacs and motive. Amazon was just too damn quick in shippin em out before i could cancel...
("I just shipp my pants"...kmart commercial haha side thought)
Anyways, started with the motive bleeder as i heard alot about it on other forums and also because there wasnt much info on here regarding this product. I used the Motive bleeder with with MP1101 adapter. The outside cap diameter is 3 inches, but you need the 2.5 inch adapter as the inside diameter is what truly matters.

This is really all the psi you need.. trust me

You really only need 3-4 psi to do the bleed. Any more than that will result in massive leaks from the reservoir. The first wheel took the longest but the rest were easy peasy. Used castrol dot 4 brake fluid since amazon has a case of 12 12oz bottles for 33.xx. You only need 2 quarts at most to do this but figured I could use em on other cars.
Brake feels much better. Since I was working in the ingen bay, did a sea foam treatment as well.. car runs smooth and stops on a dime! Also attached a service manual for others that need the info for this.. page 1087 IIRC

Seems like helpful information, but you linked your pictures to your google drive account. You need to put them on photobucket or the like and copy/paste the image links to get them to show up.
Also, I believe the jury is out on the benefits of seafoam in the engine, but I don't know enough to comment on it any more.
