If you ever need custom heads done, Bruce is definitely your guy to go. I took the drive to Jersey from VA about a 4hr drive and it was definitely worth it. Bruce is an honest and sincere guy and he backs up his work with honesty and respect. His prices are definitely not an arm and a leg but also not cheap. Get it done right the first time.. Here's what he did for me..
Custom headlights, switchbacks, with Morimotos and custom side markers..

BTW everyone:
I sent in a set of diffusers to get a mold..so i will be installing/offering/selling all clear diffusers like the ones in the TYPE-S headlights soon...Depending upon mold price/sets ordered, they will be somewhere around $80-$110 a set. i will be shooting for the $90 price..

I'm bummed to hear that happened to you man, maybe you'll find a local person eventually.
Since you know these headlights pretty well by now, is it possible to cut part of the amber leaving the corner portion in the headlight? I'm guessing it would be really tedious to do a clean cut with that material.

Finally got a chance to get my headlights done and the pics uploaded. I'm very happy with the results, Bruce did an awesome job, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering aftermarket headlights. They look very sleek and clean. I don't use the halos during the day but during the night, they stick out and look amazing. I've gotten several complements so far in the first 3 weeks alone. I went with quad halos, switchback, zkwr lens (which increases the cone of light, about 25% more), and a chrome bar to the side which replaces that amber turn signal and blends in perfectly with a silver TL. Altogether the price wasn't too bad but it wasn't cheap either like someone else said but I think it's worth it. Once again, go with Bruce. He does a few other things too which I'll be contacting him again for.

I've done it to a few sets of headlights, and will never wrap just the reflector (behind the diffuser) as it looks cheap to me. Plus not to mention it looks funny as the reflector is actually .5cm gap from the chrome bar and curves inwards at the end.
The line is super easy to cut. It's when the diffused pattern goes to the clear pattern.
To Bruce: I notice you just stick carbon fiber on the reflector.
Not trying to bash or anything, but may I suggest you offer people the wrapped partial diffuser?
All it takes is 10 minutes extra.
Miter saw, cut, wrap, done.
Perhaps you already do this. Or perhaps not many people know about it and reside to just allowing you to stick vinyl on the reflector.

Again, just merely suggesting.
If a client wants CF ends, cutting the diffuser looks much nicer, and just mention it.
Or if you already do this, keep up the excellent work. You should do it more often
Or if you don't want to bother cutting the diffuser, that's cool too lol
You do you and I'll do me

Considering how often AckTL05 uses CF inlays. Recently I've been running into many mod threads where they clearcoat the CF vinyls. The results are quite stunning. No shortage of pics on google. Obviously it has to be the 3d textured twill
Whether this has already been considered before or new news, I thought I would share it.
Many might dislike the extra glossiness, which is warranted, but as an internal part inside the housing, I think itll look nice. If this is old news then my apologies.
I did see a few bad applications of the clear coat and looks quite bad. Looks goopy and extreme orange peeling. Leave it for the professionals. =)

I use 3M shiny so when the sun hits the CF, it looks real, esp being behind the lens (glass).
Both ways are nice, but I just don't like how it leaves that gap in-between the side diffuser and the rest missing. Then keeping the corner on the side without it falling off over time is the issue. I usually like to go long term.

from what i gathered. there is small margin for error too. too much or too little can make it look amateurish too. Can probably crack if missing.
Man. Tail lights are becoming more and more affordable too....
As far as blacking/smoking the bigger corner section, is there any medium that can yield a highly reflective grey/anth/gun AND remain functional for the most part? Is there spray? or can that inside lens be film tinted? (prob not, lens looks like it has a million curves and angles). I definitely don't want to put film on the external.

Ack have you done a type-S bezel + 07/08 clear brakes + black signal?
How close can you get the signal lens to matched to the black chrome? Possible to achieve anywhere near the same reflectibility?
Like in #933(p24) but matching corner lense to bezel
